Storyteller. Ideator.

Impact Travel Strategist.

Eater-of-curious-things.

Meeter-of-inspiring-people.

I’m the bridge between you and readers with variable attention spans, travellers, food and travel enterprises, media groups, destination agencies, policymakers, governments, indigenous communities, cultural experts, global and Indian academics, NGOs, development agencies, sustainability-driven organisations, and anyone with an inspiring innovation or story to share.

As a journalist and impact travel and communication strategist, I’ve been exploring deeper questions of identity, evolution and sustainability in an emerging economy for over 18 years.

You can find some of my writing and insights on the BBC, Conde Nast Traveller, National Geographic Traveller, Lonely Planet, Outlook, Outlook Traveller, India Today, Mint Lounge and Hindustan Times. Despatches from post-war Jaffna and Kashmir, text maps of micro-regional and refugee food cultures across India, recreations of the world’s oldest proto-curry, or celebrations of many, many champions of sustainable travel in India, I’ve been telling stories I believe in.

I also divide my time as an impact travel consultant to a major Indian media company, an affiliate member of the UNWTO, and a UNFCCC award-winning social travel enterprise, working across the Himalayas, the Northeast and Central India.

I often speak at major Indian and global events, web and TV.

But what I love best is to have tea and conversations, preferably across a table, about people and places that matter.

I recharge between travels in New Delhi, India. To read more about my work, head over to LinkedIn.
